Happy Weekend!

I am so glad it’s finally Friday! Our daughter had hand-foot-mouth disease all week and it’s been a no sleep kind of week for everyone. My mom works in our office, so when the kids get sick we usually have her stay home with them. The problem is, as our business manager, she has a lot of work to get done too! So, we usually end up rearranging everyone’s schedule and seeing each other’s patients. We’re exhausted, but she’s finally feeling better and we are hopefully heading into the weekend with everyone feeling good.

We don’t have many plans this weekend, but we are going to try to get some family pictures taken in a bluebonnet field. It’s a Texas tradition that I have wanted to do ever since we had our kids, and I’m hoping we can get some good ones to share on the blog. Other than that, we will probably just try to get things done around the house. We may do a little shopping for our trip to Florida, which is less than 2 weeks away! We are so excited to see all of our family. It will be a MUCH needed vacation, as we are always working super hard, and never know when to stop or slow down.

In other weekend news…

I did find these cute $1 grow kits in the Target dollar spot. We planted the strawberry and watermelon ones. Maybe we will be consuming large amounts of home grown fruit by summer. Ha. Ha. Doubtful with my gardening skills! We can dream!

I have also been trying out fun new hairstyles for work, since I work with feet all day and my hair NEEDS to be up! I tried out this one and made a few adjustments to fit my skill level. I LOVE braids, and am a side braid-a-holic, but wanted something different. Clearly, I have not mastered photography OR hair selfies.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I’ll be squeezing these munchkins every second!

  • Cute hair style. I NEVER wear my hair down at work either but it can be a struggle to look professional. I normally go with a top knot or braided crown.

  • I love your hair! I wish I could do cute styles like that. I don’t have the coordination for it.

  • I’ll give you my coordination, if you give me your thick pretty hair! I think it’s a fair trade!
